This article reports on a cat in a hospice facility who can tell when a patient is about to die. The nurses actually call the patient’s family when he sits by them because he’s such a reliable indicator. Creepy but neat…

I had that story on the show this morning. Does that mean I’m going to kick it?

Only if he comes and sits by you. Apparently he’s aloof otherwise so you’re in trouble if he decides to be your friend.

Weirdly, I read this story today, independent of your blog. Odd that we all bumped into the story at the same time.

I liked that researchers were talking about how to prove if it’s really some sort of Kitty Sixth Sense, or if he’s just looking for a warm place to nap.

Then again, if it provides comfort to the families, who cares?
